A young band called Been Stellar sings about the "New York State Of Mind" of the past few years in a nonconformist and full of melancholy, making it clear how oppressive growing up in such a place, in such times, can really be. When we experience guitar rock in the middle of New York, one always thinks a little of the turn of the millennium and the rediscovery of the guitar - at that time they were known as The Strokes - today Been Stellar with their new sound are reminiscent of an indie revolution of modern times.
The engaging power with which the four-piece band almost challenges us runs through the entire song catalog that exists up to here. Especially in the song "Ohm", the closer on their self-titled EP released last week, everything that has to be indie today unfolds. Their sound is innovative, full of emotion, balanced, and sometimes a little laborious. Indie that invites you to experience it, if we want it. That's why this release means a lot to us and we are sure that this band will be an asset for all fans of unconventional indie rock.
