Start composing your own music—here's how
New post
Inspired by old school garage rock and the vintage soul of the 1960s, none other than The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach gathered a selection of almost uncannily talented musicians around him 8 years ago and formed the band The Arcs with their debut album "Yours, Dreamily".
A band that is unparalleled within its musical spheres and is unique with an unmistakable sound. Dan Auerbach's influence is decisive and clearly builds the bridge to a southern-inspired overall picture.
The Arcs can be appreciated above all for the fact that you notice them to approach a composition completely freely and surrender to the flow of music absolutely detached. Their music almost has the character of a relaxed jam session rather than from a professionally produced commitment—and that is meant as praise. The music's lightness and joy are excellent. Few bands manage to stand out with such a formative note, which is why we recommend The Arcs to any music fan.
We look forward to the second studio album "Electrophonic Chronic" announced in January, on which the band already presents a wonderful tease in "Eyez."
